Why boarding
We believe the ideal school is one where students board. Boarding life brings many benefits to everyone involved, teachers and students alike. Among them:
It teaches students to think and act independently, no longer relying on their parents. When a student faces a problem, they are expected to act maturely and talk it through to find a solution.
Through the boarding staff, the school gets to know each student's personality and character far more easily, and so can find the best way to support each one. We believe every student needs a different approach, as they come from different regions, with different family backgrounds, beliefs, cultures, and traditions.
It steers students away from selfishness, indifference, and not caring about others. Students learn to be generous, care for their surroundings, and look out for one another. Each room houses at most 8 and at least 6 students, so when one is ill or struggling, the others feel it too, and from this they learn solidarity, tolerance, and loyalty.
It gives teachers and staff more time to educate students and share knowledge and valuable experience. After lessons end, the school still looks after students' activities and friendships in the boarding house through boarding staff assigned to support them throughout their time there.
